The team struggled with the 1st 4 matches (out of 5). Early on, Robot had controls reversed, which
made it very difficult for Kevin to control. Also, lost communication with the robot in every match,
and was not able to restore it (so in each case, we did not work for the whole time).
Low scores for 1st 4 matches. Many teams struggled. There were many low scores with other teams
(including more than one 0).
Final match had us not only get a decent score,
but it was one of the highest for the day for the whole tournament,
so we were able to end in 8th place (out of 16), very good, and especially for a rookie team.

All in all, the hiccups were tough on the team (and Natalie, Kevin, Danny, and Tommy had very little sleep
the night before, working until about 2:30am and then getting up earlyto work), but they pulled through.

Not bad.But many lessons learned (hopefully).
Still being discussed and investigated, but too much changed too close
to competition, resulting in not enough testing and refinement.

This robot, and the mechanisms we deploy to solve the challenges, was
cleverly conceived and implemented. Just need more time to test and refine.
The guy running the event was very impressed that we used the light sensor in autonomous mode.
