Team did great and had fun, even with some adversity with a couple of lower (than anticipated) scores, ultimately getting our highest scores this season. In summary, overall, the team had their best showing yet...
in performance, presentation, and message. The team made their presentation very well.
They did a fine job delivering it, and answering the questions
A few highlights
- Our highest scores to date, were achieved
- We made it to the finals again...
and our alliance won the overall championship
- We won an "Outstanding Rookie" award.
- We won 3rd place for the Think Award
- We won 3rd place for the Inspire Award
- Both the Inspire Award and winning championship,
qualified us for going to State.
- Several coaches and team members commented on our great
autonomous and hanging abilities
- We learned we have a great robot to take to State!
We struggled a little with some mechanical and driving related issues (Danny and Kevin a little antsy in a few cases), but overall, we hung(!), we did well, and we impressed others with our hangs and with our autonomous (most didn't even do autonomous).
